10 hours on a 777 next to my mom whos down for the count, after taking 2 valium. Im on the window seat and my mom is the aisle. Her feet on both of our trays stetched and im scrunched up trying to watch a movie. The only worth while movie being Speed Racer, an interesting concept executed fairly poorly though. It really could have been better, lol. Then i try to sleep. Bad idea. REALLY bad idea. im curled up into a ball in a seat thats far too small. 10 minutes later every bone in my body is aching. I give up. So i decide to watch another movie. Ms Petigrew Lives For A Day. Such a cute movie. Takes place in the late 20’s or early 30’s in England. I enjoyed that movie emensly and recommend it to anyone that likes comedies. The food is horrible, and after what seems like 6 years, we finally land in London. Actually its Heathrow Int’l airport which is about 30 minutes outside London. We take the underground to Kensignton. The heart of London Central. Probably the most amazing city ive ever visited. (Rivaling the beauty of Sydney) I go all around the city. By foot, underground and bus. Double deckers. Fucking Awesome. I see Buckingham Palace. The London Bridge. A Fucking Castle. Big Ben. Even the hostle where my mother met her first husband. Everything about that city was amazing. The people. The buildings. The sites. The accents (drool.) I had a wonderful time except for the tiny fact that my feet were bloody killing me, and my mom was so very annoying, as she always is. I took so many pictures, that ill probably end up posting on flicker. I post a link at a later date. Our day came to an end as we got onto the underground, back in kensington. (oh btw legal drinking age in England is 18. SWEEET) The ride was hectic. The first train we got on was worng. So we got off and waited for a new one. The next train was a smooth ride until it broke. Yes, it broke. So they left us all at a stop and we had to wait for the next train to come. It took way too long. Well not really, only 10 minutes, but it felt a lot longer lol. a new train came, this one worked, thank god. We arrived at Heathrow and then we walked to pick up the luggage we left, that took about 20 minutes. (its a maze there) To get to our terminal we had to take another train. This one was so nice. It was specially designed to go between terminals. Terminal 5 was ours, and it was a beaut. Huge. New. Clean. So easy to get through. The flight to Tel Aviv was much shorter. Only 4 hours. However, they sat my mom and i apart. Not very far but she was freaking out about it. I really had no problem. she was 19k and i was 20B (thats not far at all.)The flight was much better. I was sitting next to this really nice Australian guy. We both watched You Dont Mess With The Zohan and were very disappointed. Funny but so stupid. We arrived in Tel Aviv an hour early, 5AM. And then i slept. And Slept. And then Slept some more. :] So comfortable.
